I know I was bemoaning summer in my last post, but before I go on a school supply-buying bender, I thought it worthwhile to think back on the things that made this summer a great one. Really, it’s been pretty swell.
Raybans and a floppy white hat.
Alize. On the rocks.
Guacamole.
Fresh peaches and cherries.
Boat rides.
Visits from far-way friends.
Frappuccinos.
Sprinklers under the trampoline.
Surprise birthday parties.
White wine on the deck.
Chips. For dinner.
Date nights.
Sweaty-necked kids who smell like sunscreen and lake water.
Buttery, salty corn on the cob.
Tomatoes from the garden.
Sleeping in.
Just kidding about that last one.
