Avelyn just spent the past five days in a sweaty blur of a 103 degree fever, strep throat, barfing, and more midnight acetaminaphen suppositories than either of us cares to remember. The poor kid. Every day I would assure her that surely she would feel better by tomorrow. But then the next day would come, just as horrible as the one before and I felt so bad for her. Being sick in the summer is the worst.
She has finally turned the corner and is back to her normal, vibrant self again.
Here’s to a healthy rest of the summer for all!

Oh gosh – strep is the WORST! Poor babe… and poor mum. We’ve still got a month before school starts, so make hay, girls!! (I’m so glad she’s feeling better…)
