Today is St. Patrick’s Day!!
It’s my favourite day of the year next to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It’s when McDonalds becomes a more frequent stop during the week.
It’s the week when my facebook profile pic changes to this (every year):
(oui, c’est moi)
It’s the day where we all throw on our Old Navy St. Patrick’s Day t-shirts, put on our leprechaun hats and stick temporary shamrock tattoos on our cheeks.
(No. Lucky ME!)
When I was little it was the only day of the year when it was cool to have red hair and freckles.
Contrary to what it may sound like, what phrases may pop out and what Cam’s friends think, my parents just have accents – they do not speak a different language.
Sean nicknamed me “Irish” about 14 years ago. Soon after, his friends started calling me Irish and he even secretly had a message engraved on my wedding ring for his Irish.
For the several years that I was an active BabyCenter member – my fellow mommies called me Irish.. Two of my three tattoos represent my heritage…
I’m Irish. And I love it!
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
I was sitting around with friends when I read this Tracey. I startled my girlfriend when I laughed out loud. Loudly.
really, eh? what kid of irish lass am I??
I really made up for it in my teens and early twenties. boy those were good times. I was fun.
I’ll have your drinks… Black Irish, don’tacha know… heh.
My 1/2 Irish’ness is making me smile today – Happy St.Pats to you!
Some comments on your pics:
