Spring has sprung,
The grass has ris.
I wonder where the birdies is.
The birdies on the wing.
Why that’s absurd…
I always thought the wing was on the bird!
Even if you’re not a fan of classic poetry, and even if you’re not feeling like spring has sprung in your own backyard (my husband asked if I thought it was safe to put the winter clothes away this morning…as if!) you can bring a little spring inside.
Check out these beautiful butterflies that my three-year daughter used to decorate her room. They’re called Little Chipipi wall stickers and I got them from a website called Raspberry Kids.
Described as “wall art for little designers who love to decorate”, my daughter loved being able to add her own touch to her bedroom wall. Since my own little designer sees the world from a different eye level (and different artistic sensibility) than me, I loved that the stickers could be removed, repositioned and reapplied many, many times without damaging them.
Each package has over 40 bright, beautiful stickers (enough to cover not only a three-year old girl’s bedroom, but her older brothers’ walls too!…I repeat that these are easily removed and repositioned) and costs $79.99. Check out Raspberry Kids for these and other cool and unusual products. The site’s owned by a Canadian mom who strives to bring fun, healthy and bright products into our kids’ lives.
So bring a little spring inside!

Have you heard of blik? A couple of our friends have used their designs for not only their kids rooms but also their own bedrooms. I still can’t decide what to paint let alone stick something on my wall…BTW Love Ikea!

Ha! My nine year old son just saw these pics and said, “Is that Rylan’s room? It looks waaaay better in the pictures”….and yes, it’s outfitted primarily by Ikea:)
