Summertime is here, and for most moms, that means lots of sticky mess from the frozen treats kids love so much. Well, not any more thanks to new Slow Melt Pops from trusted brand Popsicle.
Made with fruit juice, Slow Melt Popsicles contain vitamin C and a touch of gelatin to slow down the melting process. Our panel of Go2Girlz product testers recently had the chance to try out a variety of these new products with their children, and the reviews were unanimous – Slow Melt Popsicle is a must-have!
All of our 100 testers agreed that they would recommend Slow Melt Popsicles to a friend, and, as Brigitte, Go2Girlz member and mom of 2 said, “I will certainly buy this again in the future.” In fact, Patricia beat her to it. Here’s what this Go2Girlz member and mom of 1 said, “I loved this product so much that I just went out and bought 3 more boxes!”
All our testers loved the slow melt feature, and really felt the product lived up to its claim, despite some initial skepticism. In the end, though, all our testers were convinced and raved about the clean hands and clothes their children boasted after finishing these new Popsicles. As Go2Girlz member and mom of 2 Violet says, “my initial perception was there was no way a Popsicle could melt slowly, especially in hot weather, well I am pleased to say I was wrong.”
But in addition to loving the Slow Melt feature, our testers and their kids also adored the delicious flavours. Go2Girlz member and mom of 2 Michele says, “my kids and their friends LOVED the taste. They commented that they tasted better than ‘normal’ popsicles.” And the Go2Girlz really appreciated the Slow Melt Minis, which are the perfect size for toddlers and young children, or even just those with smaller appetites. “I have often run a Popsicle under hot water to melt it to half size before giving it to a toddler. Gelatin is derived from the collagen inside animals’ skin and bones. That is disgusting that they are putting it in Popsicle.
OK, I had to go out a buy a box to see for myself. I thought you folks were all making lies. Oh my gosh, this has got to be the greatest invention ever (okay, well maybe I’m exaggerating a bit…the light bulb invention was good too). My daughter has got to be the slowest popsicle eater in the world, every time she has one there is more liquid on the table/floor than I swear was on that stick in the first place. I often wonder if she actually ate any?!?! These slow melts from Popsicle are amazing. Even when the popsicle split in half it still remained on the stick, did I mention they are amazing?!?
I loved this product. My kids are 15 and 18 and they loved the flavours and taste as well as the fact that it didn’t melt all over them. They didn’t last long in the freezer, they ate a package each day.

My kids, age 12 and 6 loved them and I loved them because they were so mess free. My daughter is a sticky freak and loved these beause she didn’t have to worry about sticky hands. I would agree a little less sugar would be good but all in all you have my vote as being a great new product. thanks

They are a great size and they don’t melt on a hot summer day. I am so glad someone has finally come up with this fantastic idea. My kids love them and the ice age ones are super fun for them!
My daughters loved them! They truly are no-drip and I was pleasantly surprised, although skeptical at first. It would be great if a bit less added sugar though.
What a great idea…i keep calling them”no drip” by accident cause that’s my biggest pet peeve about popsicles. I refuse to let kids eat them inside but i gave it shot with these slow melt popsicles and there was no mess!!!! The kids didn’t even need a napkin around the bottom (they hate messy and sticky hands). The mini’s are just perfect…not too small that they want 2 but just the right size!
We loved the product, especially that they were made with fruit juice and don’t make a mess. I feel good about giving my children this treat that isn’t filled with a whole bunch of junk and chemicals. Thanks Popsicle and urbanmoms.ca!

We gave these the true test by handing them out right before a car ride on one of the hottest days – there was very little mess and the car was very quiet! What more can a Mom ask for?
What a great idea for a treat. It was perfect for the hot weather we have been having here. My son loved that he could eat a popsicle and not worry about the sticky mess.
We all thought that they were great.
But mostly seeing my younger son have these popsicles as he eats them slow and seeing that they actually melt slowly was great as most cases he has quite the mess on his face and everywhere else.
I know that we will purchase them again.
Melt slowly without drip around, less mess to clean up. Great fruity taste as well.
My 3 kids were so excited to have these appear in the house…lickety split they were gone. I bought one of each and they loved them all. Not having the drips that a regular popsicle has was also a pleasure, it wasn’t dripping down their hands either. The minis are great because they are just the right size. With big smiles on their faces they wanted to know when we can go get some more!!
As the mother of 3 teenagers, I didn’t think they would care about popsicles one way or the other. I was wrong – 3 boxes were gone in less than 2 days. They loved that there was a variety of flavours, and I loved that there weren’t any sticky spots on the floor (that usually get quickly wiped with socked feet). I even got to taste a couple myself and really enjoyed them.
At first I wasn’t a fan of these because we prefer all natural products. It wasn’t until I was on their website that I realized they are all natural! For some reason the box we bought did not have the all natural lable on it like the online pictures.
That definitly improves my opinion of them! 🙂

I’m so glad they live up to their claim. I bought some just last night for my son’s soccer team tonight. I picked them because of the 7g of sugars (there is a diabetic child on the team), and only when I got home did I notice the slow melt logo.
Slowmelt popsicles is a great product and they taste really good too. me and my sons just love them. And yes it melts slower than the original popsicles!

I really love these popsicles! I love that they are no sugar added, natural ingredients, slow melt and have lots of variety. My 2 1/2 year old son loves these so much that when he seen the picture at the top of this review he asked me to go to the store to get popsicle lol. It is a really great product that will be purchased by my family and recommended to friends

Slow-melt Popsicles are now a staple in my shopping cart! As a mother of three and a dayhome provider, I am happy to give the kids an icy treat and not have to worry about the messy clean up and sticky hands. It takes a toddler 15 minutes or so to eat one, and these popsicles aren’t even dripping after that much time! What a great grocery ‘invention’!
I finally let my kids eat this popsicle in the house. No drips, no mess…and they tried to wait, but, they tasted too good to wait that long. A++ Love them.
My two boys and their friends all love these popsicles. Even though they are teens, they still eat popsicles – and these are now their new favorites. They really enjoy the fresh flavors.
My son loves the popsicles and I love that they don’t make a mess. I would love these even more if they’d make them 100% fruit juice and omit the added sugar.
The kids loved the flavours and I love that they’re made with juice and are mess-free. My teen-aged tester thought the flavour was good but liked the texture of “normal” popsicles better. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them to friends and will enjoy more of them over the summer.

My niece and nephew had a blast testing these out!! My niece actually stood with it in her hand for 10 minutes, refusing to eat it, and willing it to melt. It’s a double plus when kids enjoy the food they are eating, and have fun with it, too.
Well I am happy to say that I have purchased this three times and 3 boxes each time. Even though my kids are older we all enjoy having a popsicle while taking our nightly walk. This week they were really put to the test as temperatures climbed into the 30’s. We even had a mom stop us because she wanted to know where we got those popsicles. I was pleased to be able to tell her all about them and seeing as she had very little children with her, how they would benefit her. She asked me where she could buy them. Another customer gained. Fantastic product.
My kids love the slow Melts. I love them also they are smaller so no waste. Indivdually wrapped. We made a game out of it. Pulled out a Slow Melt and tried to guess what colour it would be. My 4 yr old had a b-day party and I served them to his guests all the kids loved them. I told the parents what kind they were so I told them. Three cheers for Slow Melts!!!!

My kids (age 4 and 6) loved the Ice Age Slow Melts with their pointy shape and the little gummy in the tip. And, they were thrilled that there are three different flavours in each of the three boxes- nine flavours in total. The popsicles really didn’t melt at all, a big plus with slow eaters on a hot day.
My kids really enjoyed the taste and I really enjoyed the fact they could eat them almost anywhere without the mess! Bravo
My kids loved these as well! They’re great to take for a treat at soccer or baseball as they don’t get mushy too fast and my kids loved the taste.

Fantastic product! My 3 year old daughter loves popsicles and she wears them well! With the Slow Melts, she was able to eat one, I should say DEVOUR one, without having to go through a wardrobe change. Real fruit juice, less sugar and virtually mess-free… this is a mommy’s dream come true!

We were thrilled to be chosen to try this product. I’m amazed at it, no mess at all! The best part is that everyone in our family loved it! The flavors are awesome, the packaging is terrific and less sugar is awesome! As a matter of fact when we ran out I was able to get more on sale!!
I have loved Popsicles since I was a child myself. I love these ones even more as they contain real fruit juice and vitamin C. I feel good giving them to my kids and they certainly enjoy eating them!

I was so happy to see that the slow melt really worked! Even my 2 1/2 year old was done and not a drop was on him, his shirt or his hands and face! He hates the bibs now that he’s a “big boy” and this just made him feel all that much more grown up! Thanks so much for the opportunity to test these delicious summer treats!

My 6-year old loves to eat popsicles on hot summer days, but I usually make her eat them outside because she’s a slow-eater and ends up so messy. Not with slow-melt popsicles, though. She can take her time and eat them wherever she likes, plus she adores the flavours.
