I wrote about Eva’s gorgeous hair here.
It appears she has called my bluff. After her bath the other night, we were fighting about brushing the tats out. She wanted nothing of it. I wouldn’t let her have her bedtime snack until I was able to get her brush through it.
I told her if this is what I have to deal with after every bath then I’d take her for a cut. Her response?
“FINE!“
“FINE!“
gulp…”really??”
The next morning I hesitantly called and made an appointment.
I’ve been waiting for her to change her mind. She tells me she’s ready.
Stay tuned…

This will be the best thing you will ever do for your daughter:
1. Make sure she goes short enough to donate it!!
2. Best life lesson is that we are not defined by our hair – ever!!
3. She will see herself as a grown-up, she will look older, feel older and most of all she will be so proud of herself.
4. See #2
The lesson will also come back to you, she really will not miss it once it is gone, you might, but you will love her new look and your life just got 10X easier when it comes to bath night.
This is a win, win, win!!!(especially if she donates)
Can not wait to see the new pictures!!

Whoooosh, I know the struggles of the tangles – but it’s my BOY more than my wee girl. I can’t wait to know how this goes… it’s just hair, mama – it’ll be back!! xox

Have her donate to Locks of Love…she will get a certificate and everything and know that she helped some child with no hair!
