Okay, so I know — as an elderly 30-year-old lady — I am not exactly hep to the pulse of the Young People of Today. I do, however occasionally venture to places they gather, such as the mall, and when there, I take the opportunity to observe them. Sort of like a cultural anthropologist, only a lot more judgmental about shorts length.
One of the things I’ve noticed — besides their shorts being ENTIRELY TOO SHORT — is this…hair feather extension situation. Is…is this a thing? Are people really doing this? Besides him, I mean.
I could be totally off, and this could be the most normal, cool thing that everyone, including your grandmother, is into right now, and I literally would not know. So, tell me: IS this really A Thing?
Okay – how much do I love you for mentioning the shorts…WHY WHY do the shorts have to be so short? I can’t comment on the feathers except to say – Katie and Devin…you’re totally at the age to try and ROCK those feathers….having been accused of having animals living in my hair my whole life…I would guess people would think it was just a dead squirrel if I tried that…..
I’m 19, and though I’m not really a huge fan of the hair feather thing, it is pretty popular with people my age. A woman came to my college campus to do them a few times, and she always had a huge line
It is a thing, and it disturbs me. I’ve seen women of all ages, including the “elderly” 30 year olds sporting them and I just don’t get it!
Yes, this is an actual thing. Full disclosure, I have some. But I’m 23, and get to be a little young and irresponsible? Maybe? My parents and a lot of my friends laughed when I told them I was getting feathers in my hair. But everyone agreed they’re not as silly as they’d imagined once they saw them. I’ve definitely seen some people that get so many that it looks very odd. I just have 3 feathers, and they’re attached to my hair in such a way that they’re actually not that noticeable, just a little peak of color at times. Let’s put it this way, I work in investment banking, and I’ve only received compliments on them. These have stayed in my hair a surprisingly long time… over two months! I’m going to a music festival in a couple weeks, and I’m thinking about getting a few more in just to be festive 🙂
I don’t know about the hair thing, but I just want to know, how are that man’s teeth so amazing? I mean, isn’t he like 87 and saturated with all sorts of nasty poisons and stuff? Incredible.
LOL I don’t know but it looks good on him! As for the shorts – Oh I totally agree they are way too short – in fact why bother wearing them at all?
