11-year-old Kiernan Shipka needs to win an Emmy.

I have always loved Sally Draper, from the very first time we saw her on Mad Men. And now, what with the whole Sally IS the master of her own domain while watching The Man From U.N.C.L.E., troubled-pre-teen storyline they are writing for her…Kiernan Shipka is just PERFECT. She takes slaps from her hypocritical mommy Betty (how many times do you think Betty played with herself on that there fainting couch?) and threats of having her fingers cut off, explains to babysitters that, you know, the man pees inside the woman, and she CUTS HER HAIR OFF.
It seems, though, that Shipka is taking the new do in stride, embracing it even.
Oh, Saly. You are the best thing to happen to Mad Men since Ms. Blankenship.
I totally agree. She is a young phenomenal actress. The way she portrayed her character mourning her grandfather last season was brilliant. I hope they show her more and more this season.
