Dionna over at Code Name Mama is having a March of Kindness campaign. Every day in March she plans to perform a random act of kindness. Today she posted 155 ideas.
I really like this idea, I think it should be a Lifetime of Kindness. I would like to strive to perform a daily random act of kindness for the rest of my life.
I’m going to start at work. Everyday this week I’m going to find something kind to say to one student or colleague. Something not related to academics.
Maybe people will pay it forward. Maybe it will make someone’s day. That would be enough for me.

Small acts of kindness are the best. LOVE this idea!! How wonderful of you to want to do it too… nothing bad can come of it, you know? 🙂
Christine says
Please do Erin. Sometimes $1.52 is all it takes to makes someones day.
(I meant lame in the sense that I’ll only do it if it’s not too much money)

I love this – and yours specifically Christine. I ran into Timmy’s one day (pre interac) and didn’t have the $$. A guy next to me paid and it made my whole day!
Erin Little says
Christine, I don’t think that’s lame at all. Mind if I use it and possibly add it to a list?
Christine says
One thing I try to do regularly is pay for the persons coffee behind me at the Tims drive thru.
It may sound lame – but if I hear what they order and it’s not too much money – I’ll pay for theirs.
And anytime there is a cop behind me – I pay for theirs.

good one. I try. I will try harder.
