When urbanmoms.ca sent Cuisinart’s Griddler out to research panel members for testing, we knew we’d get some excited responses; we just didn’t anticipate quite how popular this four-in-one small kitchen appliance would be!
As busy moms, we all know how hectic the dinner-time hour can be: anything that simplifies the planning, preparation or clean-up has got to be a good thing. Enter The Griddler: it’s an indoor grill (contact grill: eg. chicken; flat grill: eg. veggies), it’s a griddle, it’s a sandwich press. From pork loin to potatoes to panini to pancakes – the Griddler can do it all. This multi-functionality was the number one hit with our research panel. Our testers also appreciated the fact that they were able to free up storage space by eliminating duplicate appliances (e.g. indoor grills and/or sandwich presses). Laura, one of our reviewers’ number one feature was the fact that the plates can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher – how’s that for easy clean-up? The sleek, modern styling was also a big hit with our panel, as well as the size (12-pancake capacity!) and speed of cooking.
Any drawbacks? Only one or two. Seems the drip cups don’t attach to the Griddler and need to be stored separately, so might end up getting lost over time, and if you’re not careful, you might just flip a pancake right over the edge of the griddle plate.
Overall, though, the Griddler was a huge success with our panel. Here’s what some of our testers had to say about it:
“I would just like to say how easy and fast food cooks and how many types of food you can cook – wow, it’s amazing!” Lauralee, urbanmoms.ca Research Panel Member
“Kewl – now we can have a BBQ any time of the year; even winter!!!” children of Lauralee, urbanmoms.ca Research Panel Member
“I love the styling of it, and it is so substantial. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend!” Laura, urbanmoms.ca Research Panel Member
A big Thank-You to our research panel members for their feedback. Let us know what you think below in comments.
