So, you’re heading up to cottage country for the weekend. Awesome! You’re entertaining guests OR even better, you ARE the guest! And you’ve offered to bring up a meal or two, like a good guest that you are, right? What to bring?
Instead of the standard sausages, pasta salad, and hamburger fare, here’s something that came across my inbox…and right on to my front steps! Rose Reisman Personal Gourmet is the first frozen food delivery service of its kind. Locally cooked and contains no added preservatives or chemicals. Great for home in a pinch on those busy days, of course, but the lightbulb just went off in my head since we’re heading up north to cottage country soon!
How it works…go online and select what meals you’d like. The selection is pretty good! And
you can order family entrees and just pop them in the oven or microwave for a delicious and healthy meal…a nice change from BBQing or whatever your standard cottage fare may be. TA-DA! Meals complete with no fuss and sooo impressive! You’d probably be the best guest EVER!
Even better is that during the year, if you’re tight for time or too lazy busy to cook, it’s a cost effective way to enjoy a good meal yourself or with your family and family. Rose Reisman’s Personal Gourmet fits the needs of working women and busy moms. It gives you the flexibility with no guilt and being frozen, you don’t have to worry about spoilage.
No room for excuses to have home-cooked meals ready when pressed for time!
Check out the website for the options! There’s two program options to choose from as well
a) healthy living – to maintain a healthy lifestyle or continue healthy eating habits.
b) weight loss – perfect compliment for those who are interested in made-to-order meals based on gender, height, weight and activity.
BONUS! There are gluten free options as well!
My family and I tested out some of the options. And honestly, we were pleasantly surprised at the variety. We eat out A LOT so this is definitely a great option for us as we really enjoy variety..and I’m put to the test in the kitchen quite often but don’t always have the time!
Here’s an example: we tried the grilled salmon teriyaki and dried cranberry couscous and sweet potato wedges. An individual serving is $7.95 for a small portion or a family serving for 4 is $31.55. Everyone agreed it was pretty good!
We also tried the pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce and southewestern rice, sweet potato fries and sauteed onions. Priced the same as above. My family loves pulled pork! The flavours were great!
But If you’re kids are more into kiddie fare..they have that too.
The order was placed online and delivered when requested. There’s a minimum order of $60 and the meals come in insulated bags sealed and secured. Just make sure your freezer has space!
