Not long ago, i discussed my little boy. my little boy who wants his hair to be, well, not so little. Well, that hair is starting to grow. only more in some places and less in others.
Last night during my favorite time of night…right before Isabella’s bedtime…i took some shots. Bella and i goofed around with her pacis…DOUBLE STUFFED
(i adore her toddler hands. they still have some chub to them…but i can see her slender young girl digits starting to poke through.)
while Josh did research. He was so excited to tell me that his new Xbox game …the Star Wars Lego one is out on Wednesday and i better haul tail to the store to pick it up for him. He was also researching all the games he wants for the Wii. (i should have been annoyed with him but i was so proud of a) his research skills and b) how happy he is about having the Wii. he really is my son!)
so, in the front it still looks pretty short. It’s growing…but not rapidly.
but the back, people! the back!
the boy is the poster boy for business in front, party in back.
(also, he has gorgeous hair. again, he IS my son)

The Gaffer’s hair is so insane at the moment that she can’t even see. I put it in a ponytail up front every morning which she pulls out by the time she gets to school. We’ll be headed for a haircut soon. Re: Lego game, I went to 9 stores for Guotar Hero III on Monday and it is nowhere to be found. Good luck with your purchase!

You gotta wait out the mullet faze, Ali. My son went through exactly the same thing and I can not tell you how many times I nearly caved and took him to the barber kicking and screaming. But, I held out and now it looks really good longer. He too has beautiful hair and it was worth the wait. So, be patient, you still have a few more months until you can clean it up a bit with a trim.

And now the soundtrack to Hair: The Musical is running through my head AGAIN.
My son likes his hair cut shortshortshort, like a little kid from the 30s. All righty, then.

Ahh, kids and their hair. I won’t even MENTION my eldest and her crazy fuzz-hair *sigh*.
I am so envious of you loving the time right before bed. It is my WORST time of day. By then I’m exhausted and have been with the kids all day (in the case of my youngest) or for at least 5 hours (for the case of my eldest). And THEY’RE tired, too. One of the nice things about working OUTSIDE the home was that special time after dinner and before bed. Thanks for the perspective…gotta try to get that special time back.
And I am soooooooooooooo jealous of your Wii. The last gaming system I had was an N64, but I almost lost my marriage over it (staying up ’till all hours playing Zelda) so it had to go. Maybe I’ll try suggesting to the kids that they really want a Wii for Christmas????

I don’t know what to do with Scott’s hair .. he wants to grow it, but it’s half an inch under his ear, and I just want to CUT IT!
Where to you buy his jammies… so cute!

You know, the complete saga is available for the Wii as well as Xbox, right?
And… it has Wii-specific controls like shaking the nunchuk to open the lightsaber and shaking the controller to use the force.
OK… way too much geek for this place… I’m outta here.
