Nexcare™ Brand Bandages from 3M

All right, we might be safe to say it now: summer is on its way.

What that means to most moms is that bikes, scooters, and sprinklers will come out, trees will be climbed, children will tumble and knees and elbows will be scraped and skinned. Since no two cuts are alike (and according to most children, each and every cut requires a bandage), it pays to be prepared. To that end, Nexcare™ sent samples of their Waterproof and Comfort bandages to 50 members of our real-mom panel of product testers, the Go2Girlz. Armed with two new boxes of bandages, the Go2Girlz and their Go2Kidz did their best to try them out. And their verdict? Well, this one was unanimous: they all loved them and 100% of our testers said they’d recommend Nexcare™ bandages to another mom. The more popular of the two products were the Waterproof Bandages (waterproof bandages) which unfailingly stayed put through showers, baths, sprinkler runs, swimming lessons and even lasted through Go2Girlz Tracey’s “sweaty workout”!

Now, to be fair, one or two of our testers reported some drawbacks, most notably that the bandages they tested did not sport cute cartoon characters to appeal to the Go2Kidz in the family. It’s worth pointing out, however, that Nexcare™ does have a line of bandages called Just for KIDS, which feature both girl- and boy-friendly licensed artwork.
