My most loved.

February 27, 2009 by Jen

There are some brands that I love. I admire them. I am comforted by them. I aspire to them. But for each one there is an emotional response. A connection. You know what I mean? So here are mine. I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves them. What about you? Tell me what brands you love in the comments below.

Starbucks. I love Starbucks. I go to Starbucks every day. I see friends. I chat with the baristas. I sip my grande, non-fat, no water chai latte or munch on a ginger molasses cookie. Starbucks is like my Cheers.

Apple. I seriously love my Mac. My iPod is so cool. And the new iPhone is totally awesome. This brand has done a fabulous job of marketing from packaging to advertising to product design. It is simply the coolest brand around.

Lululemon. I love this brand for a few reasons. 1) It is Canadian. 2) The clothes are comfortable and flattering and really good quality (even my hubby loves his Lulu sweathshirt) 3) It is edgy and weird. Some of the messaging is odd to say the least but it fits and makes it that much more interesting.

Google. Who could not love a brand that actually becomes a verb in multiple languages? Efficient, cool, massive. Simply amazing.

Dove. The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty is definitely one I connect with on an emotional level. It is important and it is a brave brand that bucks the status quo, especially in the beauty industry, and forces us to question and rethink how we feel about beauty.

I’m a bit puzzled, I wouldn’t know if I should purchase a media player for my cousin or just order an iphone4.

You’ve touched on a lot of mine. These are brands that I can depend on for quality and consistency (and in most cases excellent customer service). The only other one I’d add to the list is Volkswagen. 😉
