I am fragrance-obsessed and though I’m pretty selective, I do have weird, perfume related rules that I create for myself with the ones I do have. Certain perfumes go with certain outfits/events, I have — I kid you not — a perfume I wear when I need to feel all confident and Working Girl (not…not THAT kind of working girl. The Melanie Griffith kind), and so on. I also view certain scents as seasonal. One of my very favorite scents (and my favorite spring perfume) is Fresh’s Strawberry Flowers.
Sephora describes its style as “Precious. Graceful. Soft.” Which is really helpful, I’m sure. It’s a very light fresh scent with an almost…champagne-y, light musk/fresh-cut oranges scent. It doesn’t smell very strawberry-ish to me, but this is why I do not make my living as a renowned perfumer, I suppose.
Its notes include mandarin, mountain strawberries, orange blossom, musk, and white woods, and it just smells…GOOD. Light, fresh, understated, and springy. And –at under $25 — the price is right.

Nice! And it’s interesting how you perceive them – I never change my perfume… I’ve been wearing Calyx by Perscriptives for about 20 years. (I hope they NEVERstop making it! *shudders*)
