We all remember the slogan from our childhoods: “Mr. Christie, you make good cookies”. And according to our expert panel of product testers, they still do. 25 lucky Go2Girlz members recently had the opportunity to sample all the cookies in the new line of Mr. Christie’s Snak Paks – all five of which are designated as Sensible Solution, Kraft’s line of better-for-you products! What makes Mr. Christie’s Snak Paks sensible? Well, Barnum’s ABC’s Cocoa Snak Pak Cookies have 30 mg of DHA/EPA per 1 pack (30 g), are a source of iron and are 0 trans fat and Teddy Grahams cookies and Barnum’s Animal crackers Snak Paks are now baked with whole grain, are 0 trans fat and are a source of fibre.
And what makes this line of kids’ snacks even more appealing is that four of the five varieties of cookies (all except the Mini Oreo Snak Paks) are made in a peanut-free facility, so they are safe for families with allergies and all moms can feel comfortable putting them in school lunches – whatever your school’s peanut policy. What’s more, all the peanut-free varieties are clearly marked with the easily recognized peanut-free logo, so kids and adults alike can tell at a glance that they are manufactured in a peanut-free facility.
But what did the real moms, our Go2Girlz testers, have to say about Mr. Christie’s Snak Paks? They loved them! Almost every one of the moms who tested Mr. Christie’s Snak Paks said they would recommend them to a friend and buy them for their families. The features they loved best were the Sensible Solution features: these snacks are made with whole grain and have no trans fats. Of course, everyone also loved the taste, and the convenient individual packages which make it so easy to add these Snak Paks to lunches. It also works as great portion control, too, for the grown-up cookie monsters in the family! Finally, all our testers were pleased that four of the five cookies in the range are made in a peanut-free facility.

We totally loved the snacks and have already gone out to purchase more – something I would have never purchased before. I was so surprised to read how healthy they are – not your typical snack full of fillers! The serving size is just perfect to take the edge off without totally interfering with meal time. As my husband and I are both teachers, we love the fact that we can bring them to work without worrying about peanuts. Thanks for this opportunity!!! 🙂
My kids loved the varieties and that there were more than a few treats in the individual bags-it actually was a full sized treat not just a bag mostly full of air with a few cookies in the bottom. Mini Oreos were a huge hit! As for me, I loved that I could control the portions, they were great on the go-easy to bring with and easy to stick the garbage in a pocket and even more- I LOVED that I can safely serve kids with peanut allergies these as a treat. I’ve had to say “I don’t know if I can let you have…” Having the boxes marked peanut free is wonderful.

Everyone’s favourite was the chocolate chip and oreos. These are fantastic. I love the added nutrients of whole grain and low in fat. The portion size is perfect. A nice snack size without pigging out. Mr. Christie -you do make “good” (for you) cookies. I will deninately buy these in the future. Convenient and Tastey!

The kids thought they were awesome. Perfect size for travelling and snacks on the go. I loved the oreo ones, my son loved the animal crackers, and my daughter loved the chocolate alphabet ones. They were a hit with everyone.

Was a great fun opportunity to try something new for treats. My girls both loved the fact that they could choose the flavor and they didn’t have to share. My husband and I found that they were a perfect snack for after swimming, as they had no mess and were easily handled in the car. Will be purchasing these often. It was also nice to see that they were mostly peanut free. Because of that restriction, I managed to sneak a few of the Oreo packs into my lunch too.
These were great for lunches and snacks! We also took them after soccer when we were in charge of bringing snack and they were a hit. My kids love the Oreo and the chocolate chip while I loved the animal ones with my morning coffee. Thanks!

The kids loved these and thought we should have them everyday. I’m thrilled that they were nut free, as our schools here are set that way and it is sometimes hard to find snacks the kids actually want to take! We loved the size too! enough for little hands to enjoy and enough for myself to get the taste w/o over indulging!!
