It’s official. We. Are. Moving! YIPEEEEE!
We took our first load of boxes up yesterday. I showed my Mom around the place, she loved it. I can’t tell you how happy I am.
The house is exactly in the neighbourhood we want to be in. On the street we want to be on.
It has a double lot so lots of grass to play on. It has mature trees and hedges around it for shade and privacy.
There is a lake view from the master bedroom, which is a nice nice. The second bedroom is a good size also.
I have lots of friends on the street and in the hood.
I had to compromise on the number of bedrooms and a playroom. I will find a way though. There is a sunroom that I’m going to try to make into a spare bedroom (day bed) and playroom.
I’ve spent my car time on my last Peterborough road trip surfing Ikea and organizing websites (don’t worry, I wasn’t driving at the time).
I need to figure out how to set up organized and stay that way. It’s been one of my biggest struggles here and I don’t want it to follow me (I have some training of other family members to do, big & small).
So, I need all the help I can get. Ideas, websites, book titles would be fantastic. See photo gallery below. The furniture is not ours, the house stands empty, waiting for our family.

I’m not so great with organizing. Moving helped purge a lot and it seems easier to keep to a rhythm of keeping things neater at least in the public areas of the house now that we have less stuff and a dedicated place for all of it.
Could you give the girls the bigger bedroom and house their toys etc up there?
