Moved by the wrong girl

March 25, 2010 by Nancy

My eye sight is not great. Mainly I have no idea who is waving at me, what that street sign says at night and whether my eyebrows need plucking. The upside is I think I am better looking than I really am.

My daughter was to sing a solo at school  this morning amongst a few other soloists. I see a tall girl with a brown ponytail and that same horrid forest green uniform, begin to sing. It brought me to tears, her voice was pure and sweet and clear. I was so proud of her.
Whoever she was.
It was good because when my daughter actually got up to sing my eyes were dry and she prefers that.
