I recently watched this video, I think I picked it up on facebook.
At first I laughed hysterically. I showed it to my husband and he laughed hysterically. I showed it to my colleagues, and they laughed hysterically. And then I started to think about it.
It pokes fun of the competitive mom. I get that. But it only pokes fun of one type of mom. The natural parenting mom. I’m that mom (without the self-righteousness I hope).
So, I’m wondering, does this video commit the same sin it purports to denounce?

You must be the creator of the video, well done! I had many good laughs watching it, with tears streaming down my face. I guess I’m both mothers too, a little more like the organic mom in my choices only, BUT, I have twins and that changes things. I have a tendency to over think things….if you read my blog you’ll see that. So, I’m glad that wasn’t the intention.

Absolutely not. I’ve said many times before, I am both women in this video. We have to learn to laugh at ourselves 🙂
