Several months ago I was online, searching for hair feathers for both myself and my clients. I loved the look of them! However in my searches, I came across a few articles from PETA that immediately changed my opinion about wearing rooster feathers in my hair. Although I loved how they looked, to me it wasn’t worth sacrificing an animal for.
When I couldn’t find a cruelty-free hair feather supplier, I decided to create my own. Using heat resistant synthetic materials we created a selection of bright colored feathers that would last several weeks of washing, blow-drying and styling.
With my experience in hair extensions, I wanted to develop a hair feather that women could easily apply and remove at home, and that wouldn’t require them to buy a special tool kit. My hair feathers have pre-attached micro-rings and threading loops, so moms can apply and remove feathers to their daughter’s hair as well as their own in just minutes using only a hair clip and a household set of pliers.
We also have a variety of different packages and with a selection of color options in each one which make our packs great for sharing!
Women of all ages are loving the hair feathers trend – young girls, teens, tweens and moms, and when I was creating Picasso Hair Feathers
I had that in mind from beginning to end. I want the feathering
experience to be something fun for everyone from picking out a pack of
feathers with a fun name such as Twilight, or Candyland to the metallic
pink envelope your feathers will arrive in.
Recently, as I have asked a couple mom bloggers to review my feathers and the feedback from them has been amazing. I love hearing how they having by wanting to try them out for months now, or how their daughter would absolutely love some. One of my favourite responses was how she thought her hair feathers were going to make her a “hip” mom!
I am very proud of our hair feathers and love sending out each and every package because I know that when our customers receive our bright pink envelope, they are going to love what’s inside just as much as I do!
