There is one thing that’s clear when you go from being YOU to being MOMMY…Your life and your time is really no longer your own. Gone are the days when you can take your time showering, hair styling, cosmetics-ing….Showering becomes something desperate that you do when your baby is sleeping and you can take the monitor into the bathroom with you, or you can plop the child in the bouncy chair and haul into your tiny bathroom and pray for a few minutes to get an actual full shower in, or you shower in a huge rush while your children are pounding on the shower door vying for your attention.
So, I learned a little tip that has pretty much saved my life:
SHOWER AT NIGHT.
You won’t be sorry. Once your children go to bed at night, and you can actually sit down and relax, take that time to take a shower. You won’t feel hurried, or rushed, or bothered. and trust me, it’s a great way to unwind at the end of a long, tiring day.
And it makes for a way easier time getting out of the house in the morning!

I used to take bath’s at night time. So relaxing, little to non desturbing…
But also figure there is enough time to have a quick shower in the day while the girls are napping. 🙂

I’ve been doing this too for a long time. I find it relaxing too!

I find my hair a lot easier to style if I wash it the night before. Plus, I can do that without waking up the kids so I am nearly 100% ready to go before they even wake up. Then I can focus on them!

I do this! I definitely find it a great way to relax before bed. Plus, it cuts out a lot of craziness in the morning. Been doing it for years.
