Microsoft Outlook 2010- yes!

September 6, 2010 by justdworld

Last week I decided to try using Outlook 2010 a try. As a Work At Home Mom, relying on many devices and paper calendars got too much to keep organized.

I dumped my regular ways and used Outlook for the email and calendar options.

Day 1 – after getting used to the different options I felt the transistion was smooth. I was able to read email, RSS  Feeds of blog updates and enter family appointments all in the same program.

Day 3- I caught myself looking for a pen to write an upcoming birthday on the calendar.

Day 4 –  Husband complained that he did not know that we were booked on Saturday for lunch because it was not on the fail-safe calendar. After filling in the weekly to-dos on the calendar, I printed off the calendar and posted it on the big spot where the calendar is located.

Day 7- I would definately utilize Outlook to manage my work deadlines and family needs. This was great and simple once I got used to it. Just need to remember to print off weekly for the family.
