So, Lindsay Lohan could have been one of the stars of the summer’s biggest comedy…The Hangover. She turned down the part of Jade – that later went to Heather Graham – because she thought the script “had no potential.” Director Todd Phillips had agreed to give the part to Lohan (in the movie that has raked in $205 million so far, ps) but Lindsay said she didn’t like the script and walked away. uh huh.
It’s probably for the best, though, since Lindsay is super busy this summer GETTING SUED for stealing the formula to the self-tanning line, Sevin Nyne, that Lohan claims to have created with partner Lorit Simon, a Las Vegas woman who air-brushes tans for celebs.
A chemist, Jennifer Sunday, claims the formula is hers and that Lohan stole it from her.
I can’t picture her in the Jade part … Heather was good!
I can’t believe LiLo is in a position to turn down ANY script. I think she just doesn’t want to work. I heard she was paid $70,000 to party in Las Vegas last weekend with a bunch of strangers. I’m sure that’s the kind of work she’d prefer, although it’s going to get her nowhere fast.
This is one of the saddest celebrity lives. She was a great actress with so much potential. I think she should lay low for a few years and then try again with a bit more maturity under her belt.
