The joys of a two week March Break, a 20 year old neice, an ex-wife who has the kids this weekend, and a hubby who likes to play poker…and is quite good at it. Add these all together and you get a 4 day trip to Sin City, this afternoon. Of course nothing is ready, I have no clothes, I have huge piles of laundry, no food for the Gaffer and her sitter, a meeting this afternoon I can’t get out of, hairy legs, a 70’s style bikini line, and Mr. Husband just announced that our laptop is pooched and we will not be taking a computer on our trip thus hindering my ability to post my blog tomorrow.
I’m submitting this today as a quick heads up that my timing may be a bit erratic this week. I will try and find an internet lounge amidst swim up bars, slot machines and margaritas. I will be home very late Sunday night but since I will be very rich from my gambling I will not need sleep for work the next day and will get caught up then if I cannot get in touch with you before then.
Happy first day of spring!
Please remind me how excited I sound here by the end of next week when all this rest and relaxation will have worn off.
