I mean, yes, I get that they are in China and not California. and it’s Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith and not Mr. Miyagi and Danielsahn. and it’s Kung fu and not karate.
But dear god…it’s even got the same NAME!!
I am not pleased. This is almost as bad as Hilary Swank’s disaster, The NEXT Karate Kid. Why, people, why mess with perfection?
I’ve worked for Apple for a few weeks now, and quickly learned its our store’s “thing” to watch trailers ALL THE TIME. And this is the first time since I started working there that EVERYONE agreed that this is NOT going to be good. I understand the whole “reboot” craze, but this is beyond a reboot.
Not a fan.
Also not a fan of Jaden Smith.
