IT’S SHOWTIME!

Welcome to Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip! Since I’m going to be your host, I thought I’d tell you a bit about myself.

Several months back I started a little blog: The Cheaty Monkey. (Go on, click on the link and take a quick peek…. We’ll all wait for you, of course!) It’s a chronicle of my every-day life, feelings, thoughts, experiences, etc.. Most of all, it’s about my life as a stay-at-home-mom to my 13-month-old daughter — my Cheaty Little Monkey.

What’s with the "cheaty," you ask? "Cheaty" isn’t really a word. It’s not in any dictionary. It came to me just after the monkey was born. I was breastfeeding her, and I was determined not to let her use me as a pacifier. But, the little monkey managed to get away with it anyway. There was no audible gulping, friends! And, she had the most peculiar little look on her face…. At barely 2 days old, my innocent little newborn was cheating! But, I didn’t want to call her a "cheater." She had the sweetest intentions — she just wanted to stay close to her mama…. And, no daughter of mine is a "cheater." No! So, I settled on "cheaty." "Cheaty little monkey," I’d say to her, "you’re pretending to drink so you can stick around! Cheaty, cheaty little monkey!"

To this day, the monkey’s personality has remained "cheaty": flirty and sly and playful and silly, yet adorably sweet and happy…she is the epitome of cheatiness!

And, you know….She gets if from me.

So, welcome, friends. Welcome to the cheatiest place on earth. A place that’s all fun, all games, escape, flirtation, fantasy, totally ungrounded, unfounded….Nothing is as it seems….Welcome to gossip. Celebrity gossip. Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip.

Once a week, for the past couple of months, I’ve been writing a celebrity gossip column. In it, I talk about the latest celebrity gossip circulating around the Internet (among the "InterGossips" — my term for people who blog/write about celebrities), reality TV, The Young and the Restless, and anything entertainment-related — the latest rental I watched, for example, or my celebrity look-alikes — and, of course, a little something extra about my cheaty little monkey, a celebrity in her own right! Anyway, "Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip" has officially gone URBAN! It’s here to stay. And, it’s here for you, not once, not twice, but THRICE weekly.

Everything You Need to Know About Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip…and Me:

1) Cheaty Celebrity Crush:

I’ve also been known to drool over Y & R’s Joshua Morrow, Tarek from The Apprentice, Jeremy Piven, and, last but certainly not least, the funniest man on earth, Will Ferrell….

2) My Girl Crush:

After watching Woody Allen’s fabulous movie Match Point, I realized that my girl crush could be none other than Scarlett Johansson:

And, to plagiarize my own self, "no, this does not mean I’m gay not that there’s anything wrong with it it just means I can appreciate the attractiveness of other women…. In other words I think she’s hot but I’d never make out with her if given the chance and I know many women out there probably would, gay or not."

3) Celebrity Worry:

We are very concerned about Nicole Ritchie here at Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip…. I mean, we have better things to do with our time, but we worry….

4) Must-See Reality TV Shows:

*Big Brother (we’re at the final four now, and two of my favourites are STILL THERE! That, like, never happens. Yes, Janelle and Will are STILL THERE! Woot!)

*Survivor (stay tuned for recaps and snarky commentary)

*America’s Next Top Model (without which we are having trouble living…)

*American Idol (Simon Cowell…LOVE.)

Let’s face it, with all this great reality-TV going on, who has time for drama? Besides, Lost is too creepy (makes me anxious), House is getting old, McDreamie doesn’t do it for me….Nevertheless, we make room for:

*The Office (funniest show post Seinfeld)

*Entourage (I’m all about the Piv!)

*The Young and the Restless (my guiltiest pleasure….)

6) Jen or Angelina?
