haven’t seen Frost/Nixon. i really want to though. heard it was great!
Kath says
Okay, I’ll admit I haven’t seen ALL of these movies so maybe not the best judge, but I just have to say In Bruges was – well – different. Best original screenplay? I dunno. It was one of those movies I really didn’t like, but couldn’t tear my eyes away from either.
I hope Amy Adams wins Best Supporting Actress, for sure.
I *did* see all 3 animated nominees, and though I liked Bolt best, I think Wall E will win. My main criticism of Wall E is being beaten over the head by the message. Like, make it a bit more obvious here…fat people in floating chairs drinking liquid shake meals all day long? Puh-lease!
ali says
i hope so. it was SOO good. i LOVED Milk, but i think Slumdog should get it.
Kerri Anne says
Frost/Nixon for best picture? Really? I’m surprised.
Jen says
Best Picture HAS to go to Slumdog Millionaire.
Lisa says
Wow. Marisa Tomei is still around? lol. I have seen NONE of these movies all year long – something about having little kids who don’t like movie theatres… Go figure. But my money’s on WALL-E (which I saw through a grey internet service…) though my kids (who saw it at school on a snow day) didn’t understand it at all. Sigh…
