It’s Back: Glee Fills Me With Glee

April 14, 2010 by Unknown

I tried not to read any spoilers leading up to the Spring return of Glee. Emily and I were ready. And I will just have you know that I was not disappointed.

The only thing more brilliant than the addition of Idina Menzel to the cast was the addition of Jonathan Groff. Oh my god. JONATHAN GROFF. As a HUGE (and I mean huge) fan of Spring Awakening, the reunion of Malchior and Wendla makes me ridiculously excited.

God, I love this show. We are back from Sectionals, but apparently, Sue Sylvester is back and she’s engorged with venom and triumph and she’s making I-hate-Schu’s-hair jokes (“I’m going to bring some Asian cookery to rub your head with because right now you have enough product to season a wok”) in her track suits and winning Sectionals wasn’t enough.
Finn thinks he might be dating Rachel (who has a slushie-stained training bra!), but he’s not sure he wants to do that so instead he starts dating the Cheerios Mensa duo (did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks? She dresses like Pippi Longstocking. Only Israeli.) only that doesn’t go over very well and when he finally decides he wants Rachel back, she has moved on…to the Glee club competition. OOOOOH. Vocal Adrenaline is awesome and not just because they give their members Human Growth Hormone. heh.
In Will and Emma land, which was actually the most boring part of the show, Will realizes that Emma has ISSUES, including not liking Pearly White Harbor sneak attack kisses. And, you know, being a virgin. Really? Did he not know what he was getting into? Also, he’s making out behind Emma’s back? WHAT? what? NO!!!!!!!!!
KURT. oh my god. Hs answer of “She’s dead, this is her son” to the question of how he answers the phone? BEST EVER.
VOGUE! Oh, Sue Sylvester, I love you and much as you hate Will Schuester.

Enjoyed every second of the episode. I have to say that Brittany is fast becoming my fav, with her “brilliant” one-liners. I couldn’t stop laughing at the gay shark line.
Mensa duo. That’s a good one Ali!!

    YES YES YES
Last night made me SO happy! I had to get OFF Twitter to make sure I didn’t spoil for anyone else!
