Is Ryan Seacrest REALLY Hosting the Emmys Tonight Gossip?

Are they serious? Is Ryan Seacrest really THAT famous and great that he’s HOSTING THE EMMYS? I mean, is this really happening? Is he really ELLEN and JOHNNY CARSON material? Well, I’m watching right now, and he’s doing pretty well, I’d say — lucky bastard….

Ahhh, I love Jeremy Piven — kissing his award and dedicating it to his late father second year in a row? AWWW!?  There are TEARS, Gorgeouses, TEARS! HEART HIM!

And, omigosh, Christina Aguilera is TOTALLY preggers. She doesn’t have to confirm it AT ALL. Her face has totally changed — which, as my mom would say, means she’s having a GIRL — and she’s totally got that GLOW. Besides, Paris Hilton already let the pregnant cat out of the bag in front of a bunch of people and cameras the other day, much to Christina’s embarrassment (it’s true, Gorgeouses)….

How cute is he? And, Reese looks gorj lately. But, I wish she’d smile more. All we ever get, really, is this kinda thing:

Not too convincing. But, Reese is no Paris Hilton — I mean, she doesn’t bask in paparazzi fame. So, no surprise she doesn’t smile much for us. But also…, everyone’s making a big deal that Reese can’t find true love. She and Jake Gyllenhaal are, of course, no longer together. It’s like she’s the new Jen Aniston. Give Jen and Reese a break, paps and tabs. One doesn’t NEED a man in her life to be happy, right GORGEOUSES!?

And, why does "Gyllenhaal" have to be so hard to spell. Right up there with "Johansson" — I have to google them EVERY time to check the spelling. Bitches!?!

But, I don’t do that — I try to be a proud ghostly-fair-skinned person…. A-ny-way, Jessica Simpson is the ONLY celeb who TOTALLY looks better without makeup. HATE HER! Love.

Are you aware that the intergossips HATE Avril Lavigne? This girl gets kicked in the arse every time they get a picture of her. I don’t totally get why they rag on her so much because she’s such a talent, really — great voice. But, they think she’s a brat. And, mind you, she really should stop talking carp about other people…. And, she really should deny (or apologize or something) for saying she recorded her last album TOTALLY drunkers and WRECKED. And, she should probably just admit she’s a "pop" star, and not a "rockstah" or whatever. But, WHATEVS. There are a lot worse celebs out there than AVRIL. And, she did give a FAB performance on the Canadian Idol finale — you gotta admit….

There she is, looking amazing (unlike me). Like me, Salma’s due any day now. And, like me, she’s wearing her flip flops in September. (But, she’s not in Canada, so I don’t know if that rule — if it’s a rule — applies to her.) Apparently, Salma’s having a GIRL! Wonder what I’m having……? wink wink! You’ll find out soon enough! Eeeeeeee!

EMMY FASHIONS!

It’s too early to do much Emmy gossiping, but, I CAN bring you some of the night’s glam GOWNS…. Check it! Please Note: I’m afraid to make too many comments here. VERY AFRAID. Because everyone who knows me in real life knows that I have NO FASHION SENSE when I’m pregnant. Right now, I’m 38 weeks pregnant — and possibly going into labour RIGHT NOW (I always feel like I’m in labour these days) — so, my fashion sense is utterly non-existent! So, you tell us what YOU think in the comments, kay? Love.

Ali Larter can do no wrong…. GORJ! Tall skinny gorjness hate…. But, gorj.

A wee bit frump…. Not digging the unflattering-ish horizontal pleating (or drapery? what do you call that?), nor am I digging the sparkly black belt with the royal blue. It’s just not doing it for me, you? But, America Ferrera looks FAR from "ugly." BEAUTY BETTY!

Yeah, Debra Messing’s dress is quite coo…, I must say. Simple. Understated. Modern. But, I’m just not that into her. So, this is just "meh" because the dress is TOTALLY wearing her and not vice versa. But, it’s not her or the dress’s fault that I think Deb lacks a wee bit of charisma. And, I’m sure she’s really happy she’s stick thin again…. Grace is BACK! But, I’m not a big Will and Grace fan, obviously.

Is it me? Or, does she look like Debra Messing here? Totally thought it was Debra. But, no, it’s Ellen Pompeo with SCARY HAIR. Nice, simple dress…. Again with the blue and black, though? It doesn’t look good on America, and it doesn’t look good on Ellen. But, at least Ellen’s belt is narrow….  She looks hungers, as usual.

Boxy, but beautiful number on our favourite newlywed Housewife. Love the sparkles, love the short length, LOVE the shoes with the red soles (highlighted by Ryan Seacrest in his opening monologue). Gorj.

OMIGOSH. STUH-NNING! The colour, the gorjly-exposed PERF leg, the self-designed jewelery, the hair. Heidi Klum looks BEYOND. LOVE this colour on her. It’s sooooo Fall.

Oh boy. Too purple. I LOVE PURPLE. But…, even though the colour looks FAB on the gorjly-brunette Julia Louis Dreyfus, she gets a big fat THUMBS DOWN for the purple AND the shiny. The touch of royal blue in the shoes and purse is a bit weird with the purple, too. But, it’s interesting…? I have to say, though, the dress looks MUCH better on TV than it does in this picture…, if it’s any consolation.

Kate Walsh.  Gorj colour. LOVING the red this year. Very Fall. But, when I look at this picture, all I think of is BOOOOOOOB.  Boob-low-down. Unflattering. Or, maybe it’s the photo angle…. That neckline is just the worst. She can’t put her shoulders down at all (did you see her presenting? — shoulders were up to her ears). But, the newlywed glow is definitely doing its thing! She DOTH look beautiful (minus the boob neckline thing).

Ahh! Beautiful. Katherine Heigl looks flawless in white. Wasn’t sure I was digging the red lips. But, now I’m sure. Plus, red lips are TOTALLY in this season (I heard this on the radio and read it in InStyle Magazine or something). And, YAY for Katherine winning Best Supporting Actress!

Marcia Cross looks AMAZING for just birthing twins! And, for BREASTFEEDING them! But, that’s about it. Not AT ALL wild about the dress. Not digging the diamond shapes on the hips and the loose-ish top…. Too much drapery. Oy, the more I talk about it, the more I loathe it. Really uggers dress. But, her hair looks so pretty, as usual….

Another RED dress! Love the RED! Mary Louise Parker looked STUNNING…but, only when she was sitting down in this dress. Standing up (like in this pic), she looks a bit bridesmaidy with those lines (or, are they hems? what do you call those vertical line thingies?)…. The lines make her boobs look weird…. BUT, her hair and makeup were BEYOND. She looked more beautiful than ever. Beautiful woman, she is. Really gorj.

Very pretty. Sleek. Black. With perfectly shaped touch of white. Totally suits Sandra Oh. She’s working it. Love. it.

Uch! STUNNING. Portia de Rossi looks perfect in this royal blue gown. It’s perfect. And, it’s even more perfect with THIS:

Awwww! They both look gorj. Fave Hollywood couple — RIGHT THERE! So sweet. Not sure what Ellen’s holding, though? You?

Weren’t you SO HOPING Sally Fields would say "YOU LIKE ME!" when she accepted her award tonight? Oh well. LOVE HER. My mom’s always loved her, too. She bumped into her in person once and said Sally was so nice….

Sally’s speech for winning the Emmy for best lead actress in a drama series (Brothers and Sisters) was still memorable, though! Fox ended up bleeping some of it out — because it was very antiwar. Sally didn’t mean to be as anti-war, though, as PRO-MOTHER: "And, let’s face it," she said, "if the mothers ruled the world, there would be no G–damned wars in the first place." In response to Fox’s censorship of her speech, she said:

Oh well. I’ve been there before. Well, good. I don’t care. I have no
comment other than, oh well. I said what I wanted to say. I wanted to
pay homage to the mothers of the world, and let their work be seen and
valued…. I think
probably shouldn’t have said the God…. I would have
liked to have said more bleeped-out words.

I guess Britney didn’t agree to do that apology…. There were rumours that Brit Brit was going to come on the Emmys and offer an apology for her historically dreadful performance at the VMAs…. Do you think she should or should have apologized? A lot of people think she should…. I think she should just leave well-enough alone…. I think an apology would be just as sorry as her performance was…. I, personally, don’t need an apology from Britney. Do you?

And, do you think Brit watched Christina Aguilera performing with Tony Bennett. Old rivals. Christina WAY out of Brit’s league. Poor poor Britney.

Ummmm…. Why isn’t BIG BROTHER nominated for Best Reality Competition Show?
Amazing Race wins AGAIN? I couldn’t even watch it this year….

Tonight’s BIG BROTHER was a TOTAL celebration for us DICK & DANIELLE fans! WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!! I saw in the comments that MOST OF YOU ARE AS THRILLED AS I AM that DICK AND DANIELLE ARE TAKING IT ALL HOME! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO! Love. This could not be a better ending.

So, who do you think should win? Dick or Danny? Who played the better game?

Josh-O is sooooo bitter that Zach didn’t win (I know, LOO-HOO-SER — I mean Josh, not Zach! hee). And, he thinks that Danielle and Dick won BECAUSE of the America’s Player twist. I, personally, think that Josh-O’s just being bitter and a Dick-hater. And, to that I say, WHATEVS! Because, America’s-Player twist or not, that was the game this year. The twist is PART OF THE GAME! And, Dick got America to love him! He and Danny win fair-and-square. Period. What do you think, Gorgeouses?

And, Y&R? It’s SO bad enough that we’ve had to watch Sharon and Jack make out for as long as we have…. And, even Kevin and Janna — I can’t WATCH them kiss without thinking how bad her post-surgery breath must be!!! But, now David Chow and Nicky? Ewwwwwwww! He’s SO unattractive (at least I think so), and she’s, like asexual. It’s really brutal. And, why’d they name him "Chow"? He’s not Asian….
