We are thrilled to launch our brand new video series, “Women’s Intuition”, on urbanmoms.ca. This insightful and entertaining series is inspired by you, Canadian moms, and hosted by the incredibly creative team at Schick Intuition Plus. In this series we’ll cover tons of topics from fitness & fashion to philanthropy. Plus, you’ll get to see me (Jen) trying not to look too goofy 😉
Take a moment to watch our first video on Giving; inspired by an amazing mom and a wonderful charitable organization, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, who touched her so deeply during her son’s illness.
Next month, be sure not to miss “Women’s Intuition” as our own style guru, Katie from the Style File, takes us inside a real mom’s closet for a Wardrobe Workout!

Great job, Mom!!! I am so very proud of you and how great this clip came out. You told our/Paul’s story in such a composed and touching way, as you always do! I know Paul is very proud of you too!! Love you!!
Thank you to Schick for these great videos and more importantly, for their genorous sponsorship of all of the fantastic programs that Starlight Strabright brings to the children who need them most. I can’t remember seeing my brother happier than when his wish came true.

It is so great to know that big companies like Shick give some of their money to support others in need. It is also great to know that organisations like Starlight exist even though it is so sad that they need to.
I will be thinking of Connie and Paul when I put my kids to sleep tonite.

What an inspiring story. Connie and her family are to be commended. Also the Starbright organization – We need to be reminded about others in need and to see how we can help. Thanks

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! I am so impressed. It sounds like an incredible organization and I just want to thank Urbanmoms for taking the time to highlight such a foundation and sharing with us Connie’s story. I am so glad you are also having a month focused on philanthropy as I think unfortunately we frequently get caught up in our busy lives and forget what a difference even a small gesture can make. Thank you.
