In marriage, it can be so easy to focus on yourself. Your needs, your time, your ideas, your heart. Falling into the “he doesn’t appreciate me and how AWESOME I am” trap can happen without even knowing it.
This weekend away gave me the chance to really sit back, see my husband for who he is, and be humbled in the knowledge of how I have miles to go before I appreciate him in the way he deserves. He’s a good one and I am a lucky, lucky bride.
