so, i told you on Friday that Miss Bella was getting herself a brand-spankin’ new big-girl bed in a few weeks. so, now it’s time to start working on her room. I never really did much with her room because it was yellow for the longest time. yes, yellow. When we moved into the house i was pregnant with Josh, and was unaware of his sex. yellow = neutral = perfect. When i was pregnant with Isabella, even though i knew she was a girl, i was unsure of what i wanted to do with her room. i knew it was somehow going to involve pink toile (i’m OBSESSED with toile. OBSESSED)
we finally, for her first birthday, painted the room pink. and then i bought, on ebay, of course, a set of crib sheets AND a twin sheet set – both pink toile. think this:

but that’s about all i’ve done.
it’s time, now, to help me decorate Isabella’s room.
I was thinking of maybe doing her name in some sort of wall letters. and i was thinking of keeping with the fairy-tale-ish princess-y theme. oh, also, she’s slightly obsessed with all things princess and all things butterfly these days.
so, i’m looking for suggestions…recomendations…website referrals. and if you are crafty, like miss haley-o, and have your own business…let me know, i’d be happy to throw the business your way!!

I say, get a mirror from KDA to match your paintings! 😉 And a lamp from KDA to match your mirror. And, perhaps a coathook and lightswitch plate and drawer pull……… You can get butterflies, too, of course! 😉
Seriously? I love the picture of the sheets of there. And, I like simple, too….Once you have your bed, bedsheets and whatever furniture you need, the room will feel decorated, methinks! You HAVE to come see the monkey’s room. It’s so cute!
