what do you have planned for Valentine’s day??
what? what’s that i hear? nothing? what? you’re tired? you’re cranky? the kids have the flu? it’s no excuse. Valentine’s day is a day for celebrating love and hearts and all that chocolate-y goodness. it’s a day to feel sexy about yourself and about your loved one.
need some inspiration? i hereby present you with ali’s hot valentine’s day extravaganza. this is what i’ve got planned (at least what i can tell you about…) assuming i can shake this stomach bug by the 14th!
enjoy. (and you know i want to hear all the details)
1. in the morning, as he’s leaving, plant a hot, wet kiss on your honey and say "happy valentine’s day. there’s more of that later. have a good day!"
2. email, text message or SMS your honey mid-day. tell him what you have planned for later that night….what underwear you chose our to wear (or NOT wear)…anything to get the creative… erm…juices flowing.
3. or, leave your underwear in the glove compartment. call him while he’s driving and tell him you think you left something important in the glove.
4. email your honey some spicy pictures of yourself. trust me. this one will go over BIG.
5. send something to his office. remember: flowers are for women only….but there are many options…
6. dinner doesn’t HAVE to be at a restaurant (but this is always a good idea). tell him you’re going to cook up something special. if you cook, cook. if you don’t, take-out is great. go all out. candles. wine. music.
7. after dinner, send him out for something. anything. dessert. leave a trail of clothing leading to your bathroom where he will find you waiting in a hot bubble bath.
I am too self-conscious to try the nudie pic thing…plus, my hubby works in an open concept office and..well…I think he’d be fired!

AWESOME POST! I feel soooo inspired right now! I’ll try me some of those. What to do with the monkey, though…. If I leave a trail of clothes to the bedroom, she’ll start playing with them and putting them on…. I have to try that nudie pic thing. Josh will be SHOCKED!!!!
Ali, my dream valentine’s would be an overnight sitter and a hotel room with DH. We went away for a night in the autumn, and just sooooo enjoyed reconnecting with each other. Sex was a part of it, but honestly not the part either of us enjoyed the most. But you’ve given me some good ideas. Think I’ll book a sitter and surprise hubby with a nice dinner out. thanks!
hi ali,reasons why i can’t do any of those things you mentioned…1)he usually leaves for work before i get up.2)we don’t have cell phones.he doesn’t have access to a computer.3)whoa,if i left my ginormous undies in his glove compartment,for sure i wouldn’t get lucky for valentines(not mind you that i will anyways)4)see #2 also oh never mind…5)um,he works in a kitchen with lots of other people and would get so embarassed.6)he only likes food if he cooks it(go figure)7)he would just step over the clothes and go to bed.or one of the kids would find clothes and complain about it….lol
