The most hilarious yet fairly disconcerting part of that long journey back from Jamaica with the pilot who really didn’t get it, was when we were refuelling and the stewardesses said “Please unfasten your seatbelt during the refuelling”
They were rather insistent with this and it struck me as odd because they had been so adamant about seat belts on during most of the trip. I asked why.
“Because if we catch on fire during the refuelling, you will have to exit quickly”
That made me laugh out loud. Ridiculous.
