Most of the time, I can live with watching my beautiful HD television through a film of sticky fingerprints. Usually it doesn’t bother me that my lovely Apple computer monitor is littered with spots and dots. There comes a time, though, when my plasma and LCD monitors need a good clean; I recently tested a new product called Eco Mist Solutions and I’m very impressed.
Research tells us that “consistent and constant exposure to toxins released by household cleaners can cause both short and long-term health effects” according to Environment Canada. To help alleviate this growing problem without sacrificing effective cleaning results, Eco Mist created a powerful line of household cleaners made from 100% toxin-free renewable resources.
All the products are developed and manufactured in Canada and are made using natural ingredients such as corn, tree sap, processed coconut extract, sugarcane, grass, grains and potatoes (yum….I should not blog when I’m hungry…I’m tempted to lick my screen). There’s a scientific reason that these ingredients combine to create cleaning agents with the fancy name of colloidal chemistry. I dropped science in grade ten, but I can tell you that colloidal chemistry seems to clean my computer monitor and my television. The bottle says it’s also good for keyboards, DVD players and cell phones!
Eco Mist products are available at Home Depot stores across the country and online. Prices range from $5.99 to $7.99 for everything from all-purpose cleaner to furniture to tub and tile cleaners.
