Yes. I agree! but that changes as kids get older…they don’t want it…or they like to read to you…or they like to read on their own. 🙂

Reading to children is so important for their language and literacy development. Reading helps with so many cognitive skills, sequencing, cause and effect, critical thinking, analysis and evaluation…etc.
It is also a wonderful bonding experience. We read every night and often during the day and we all love it!
