okay…i happen to be in the camp that thinks that Mischa Barton is a beautiful girl. i always have. well, except for maybe when she was in the Sixth Sense, because she was all vomity and her creepy factor was way high. but, she’s got a unique look to her (and i love the girls who can make round faces ala MOI look beautiful. it’s not easy, i tell you) and i think she’s stunning.
but, she has this little habit, that’s become sort of a little reputation for being, well, one of the worst dressers i have EVER seen.
i mean, she does it all. the high-waisted mom jean. the giant, billowy puffy shirt, the tablecloth/cowboy boot look, the long-johns and boots combo, and i am at a loss for words over the hat and leiderhosen concoction. leiderhosen? seriously? trying out for The Sound of Music, perhaps?
her weird, bizarre fashion misses even showed up on-screen on the OC:

Yes…i’m a guy – but, he key to Mischa’s style is: effortless, quirky, and cool. She always looks as if she’d be equally at home on the beach or a trendy restaurant.
She always looks confident, relaxed, and comfortable in her clothes makes her style even more enviable?

AS you know, I LOVE making fun of Mischa’s wardrobe at Cheaty’s Celeb Gos. I think she’s just a bad dresser. Like me when I’m preggers — it’s a hormonal thing. She’s missing something the fashion hormone. 😉
i think people should leave mischa alone.at least she doesn’t dress like a tart or show her ‘vaginal cleavage’ (as i heard on much music)or is disturbingly,disgustingly skinny,or arrested for coke possession or dui or anything….and hey the leiderhosen are kinda cool

I agree with Larual Dawn. She puts too many odd things together…and she always looks a little frumpy and wrinkled. She has a very pretty face but her disheveled appearance makes her look less attractive. She needs to get Jessica Simpson’s new stylist who took her from slutty to classy over night or Katie Holmes’ who, despite the creepy-Stepford-wife-thing, always looks fashionable and pretty.
I gotta’ say, I don’t know much about her, I never watched the OC. After all of the pictures you just showed me, I’m gonna’ go with batshit crazy…yes, batshit crazy about covers it. Get a stylist, please!

I think she tries to be cutting edge fashion, but just doesn’t succeed. Her problems are that 1)she mixes “high fashion” items with more “high fashion items” which makes her look confusing. Like, if you’re going to wear something that is maybe a little odd, the rest of you should be dressed in basics. So, like one crazy hat or something.(i.e. wear the liederhosen hold the hat) 2) Her look doesn’t work because she wears kooky stuff too often. If she just pulled out the odd kooky outfit than people might find her fashionable. Like, if Jennifer Aniston suddenly wore one of those outfits she may not be on the worst dressed list because she has a good reputation so it may be considered the next fashion look.
But, I also thing she’s a little batshit crazy having seen her boyfriend. Ewwwww!
