When I bought my Mac laptop, I decided on a MacBook Pro because the guy at the Apple store said it had a “blah, blah, blah, blah…. video card” and I wanted to make videos (I’m easily suckered into the more expensive choice). I wanted to take the video footage of Maddy and her kids and edit it into beautiful films, I also wanted to film the growth and exploits of Sophie & Fiona. I’ve used it to make some really cute little films, including ones in my classroom, for Grade 8 graduation and in other grades to commemorate and celebrate the year.
My work stopped when I went back to work full time…I’m sure you can guess why. No time for work, kids, house and fooling around much on the computer. Ah well, there will be time again someday. Here is one of my first films. It’s of Fiona & Sophie learning to walk.
Do you have time for projects like this? What is your artistic outlet? (I would also love to scrapbook, not because I think it’s fun, I don’t, but because I like the product).

Oh my goodness, that’s the CUTEST! Times TWO!! Wow. I wish I had skills to make this kind of thing… I’m all lame like that.
And like Jen, this IS my creative outlet. That, and napping. Heh.

So cute! I would LOVE to have this for my kids but, like you, working and life get in the way. However, I am going to make a point of doing one. Thanks for the inspiration.
As far as my creative outlet? You’re looking at it!

ERIN!!!!!!!! I love this so much! A. I love that song so much and had forgotten and B. Do you hear your laughter in the background? It brought me back to your post the other day…you’re there…..and you need more of these movies to remind you of it…:).
And projects – this is exactly what I want to do…I’ve downloaded the microsoft movie thing…and it’s time…because I’m jealous – that was freaking awesome.
