My bag is packed and I’m heading out the door for Urban Blog Fest at Blue Mountain!
I’ve never left all my kids and gone away before, so while I’m SUPER EXCITED about getting away with a fab group of girls, my heart is sort of aching right now. My husband is looking forward to some quality time with them, and I know they are going to love that.
I’m such a control freak however, and it’s kind of killing me that the Girl’s hair is unbrushed, there’s a little peanut butter on the Boy’s face, and my Baby’s outfit is ummm, not matching. However, I keep repeating the mantra of “Don’t sweat the small stuff!”. They are happy, they are clean, and they are fed! So I will keep my mouth shut and leave quietly.
I’m mostly excited about connecting with the fabulous mom writers who share my Urbanmoms community. I’ve been blogging for 3.5 years, but our personal interactions have been few. Some of the newish writers I have not met at all. Looking forward to matching a face to the wonderful writing I devour each day!
