Halloween Foods: Plan B thanks to Sandy

October 29, 2012 by Sonya

So, we’re getting ready for Halloween and it looks like this monster of a storm is coming our way. My kids started talking about what to do should we get a complete rain out on the night of Halloween. They decided (yes, they did) to not go out but instead could we have some fun at home anyway!

My mind shifts into high gear and I start thinking about all the fun ways we could incorporate the spooky night with food.
Actually, I was planning on this regardless…I mean, have you tried ordering pizza on Halloween night? Forget it. It’s insanity.
So, here are some food ideas I found on Pinterest that are fast and fun!
Be afraid.

This really got inside my head….
go to the dollar store and get a skeleton head. wash clean, spread a thin layer or cream cheese and carefully layer thin slices of deli meat like proscuitto around the form. Gross.
So, what are your spooktacular food plans for Halloween????
And to all of you in the path of Hurricane Sandy, please stay safe!!!
