Who loves dinosaurs? I know my little guy sure does! We visit the Royal Ontario Museum at least a dozen times each year and never seem to get tired of checking out the breath-taking dino exhibit. And if your kids love them as much as we do, you’ll want to add this to your home DVD collection.
DINO DAN roars on the scene with a new DVD release this week. For those of you who have been living in a cave, Dino Dan: Ready? Set? Dino! is a very popular television series produced in Canada in partnership with the world famous Royal Tyrell Museum in Alberta. This museum is Canada’s only dedicated museum to the science of dinosaurs.
The award-winning series is about a young paleontologist in training named Dan Henderson as he imagines the dinosaurs into the real world. He and his friends chase, race, play game and follow various dinosaurs in some amazing scenes. They even use scientific methods to gather clues and solve mysteries. It’s fast-paced, action-packed and full of discovery!
The series appeals to children ages 2-7 (my little guy LOVES it) and adults will find the episodes interesting as well as entertaining!
Dino Dan airs in Canada and the U.S. (on Nick Jr) and is now available on DVD (includes amazing extras).

LOVE Dino Dan! We watch him Saturday mornings on TVO. I was just saying to my hubby that it is so WEIRD to hear my 3 year old talking about dinosaurs & telling me the CORRECT names of them when she sees the pictures of them. The other day she insisted that a cloud looked like a stegosaurus when we were out driving! I don’t think I even knew what a dinosaur was at 3 years old!
