PARIS: "DOING BETTER" AT THE TWIN TOWERS CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, L.A.
Apparently, Paris is doing better now in this facility (vs. the Lynwood facility she broke down in last week). Specifically, she’s in the medical ward of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, and her health and mental well-being are being monitored. Paris is reportedly cooperating and NOT APPEALING the 45-day sentence. Good for her. Take it like a woman.
Here are some deets on the situation she’s living in now at the Twin Towers:
- she’s in a private room that contains four beds;
- she receives two cold meals a day at 7am and 11 am, and one hot meal at 6pm;
- she’s choosing to eat very little — but at least she’s eating something;
- Paris is allowed to use the phone one hour a day;
- she has a phone in her room;
- she is checked on every half hour by jail staff;
- she is NOT on suicide watch;
- she has access to a TV in a community room but has opted not to go there;
- she’s most likely cooperating now for fear that she’ll be moved to the 8th-floor mental ward if she continues to decline;
- until further notice, she’s staying at the Medical Services Bureau on the fourth floor of the facility.
Unfortunately, Paris’s good behaviour may also lead to her transfer BACK to the HORRIBLE LYNWOOD FACILITY this morning (Monday morning). This is VERY bad news for Paris. Check it:
- the warden at Lynwood, and Sheriff Lee Baca, insist that the jail is understaffed and, therefore, unable to guarantee Paris’s safety;
- staff at Lynwood fear Paris is at high risk of being stabbed at recreation times (when the inmates unite in large groups);
- Lynwood staff were annoyed by all the new rules imposed when Paris first arrived there: all of them were prohibited from carrying phones, iPods, or any other possible recording devices
for fear that pictures of Paris would get leaked; - the Lynwood staff are working overtime, since the facility is understaffed, and they depend on their cell phones, iPods, PDA’s, etc., to get them through the long hours — so the fear is that they’ll get through the day by giving Paris a difficult time.
One more thing: WHY WAS PARIS SENT HOME BY SHERIFF BACA? Rumour has it that Paris’s grandfather had donated $1,000 (the biggest donation allowed) to Sheriff Baca’s campaign. Donations like this by many celebrities are a result of the close connection Baca has formed with the Hollywood community…. Interesting. VERY. Interesting.

high-risk pregnancies and advanced ultrasound technologies. After their appointment, they stopped to eat at Capitale, a restaurant in the Lower

…yeah, she broke up with John Mayer — and, LOOK HOW GORJ! Natural, covered-up. GORJ. Wonder what happened in her relationship with Mayer that made her pile on the makeup and take off the clothes? Seriously? Was she TRYING to sabotage the relationship? Was she unsatisfied in the sack? I guess we’ll never really know. But, the change in her — from SLUT-HO to GIRL-NEXT-DOOR — is remarkable!

(WARNING SOPRANOS SPOILER:) I don’t watch THE SOPRANOS, so I can’t say much about the finale. Except that I watched it. What did you think? PLEASE tell me those babies got out of the car — never mind that dead guy’s head they ran over (HURL!). And, what do you think happened in the end? Was the end that THERE WAS NO END? Or, are we to assume that the whole family got hit? Sad it’s over? Wanted more? Disappointed in the finale? LOVED the finale? Talk to me/each other in the comments. LOVE!

KATH — Trend…yes…totally. Hopefully, this will end well. I don’t know though. Christina has always seemed like someone who likes hotties and steamy sex. Jordan has always struck me as way too conservative for her. But, that could be what makes it work…
ALI — I think I liked it too. Not a fan of the show. So, really shouldn’t comment.
R&P GIRL — agree. it left several possibilities open. I like the idea that he dies, and so dies the show because it’s from his perspective….The show was SHOT with him in the end. But, were they all shot? The whole fam? Did the hitmen wait till the daughter showed up to shoot them all? I hope not. Too gory and sad.
Love the photos of Vi and Jen, so sweet. I want to be more like her sometimes, more in the moment.
I kind of liked the Sopranos ending too, I mean it was unfinished and that is the idea, you decide. When everything goes black it could be Tony dying, since the show is from his perspective it could be HIS world going dark. Hubby thinks (based on watching it more than me) that it was just life for Tony. He is always on edge, looking over his shoulder a kind of life goes on for him ending.
Whatever. It was a great show, the writing especially was brilliant.

Thanks for the Jen and Vi pics. Wonderful! Hope Daddy gets in there once in a while, too, tho. Ah, the whole Paris thing is screwed. While I’d like HER to get the worst punishment possible, it doesn’t seem fair to put the poor low-wage workers at the prison in a bad position just to accommodate a high-profile inmate like Paris, kwim? Just hope she learns her lesson and STOPS DRIVING DRUNK!!! As for Christina, whatevs. I feel like having a baby is a Hollywood trend these days (sorry Christina if I’m making you the scapegoat) and so often it doesn’t end well. For every Jen Garner or Gwen Stefani there’s a Britney Spears or Alec Baldwin or poor, poor Katie Holmes! *sigh*

Great updates! Wow, I thought I was big with my kids, but Julia still looks good – seeing as she had twins the first time, doesn’t surprise me how huge she is 2nd time around. Those are adorable pix of Jen & Vi, in every pic together she looks like she’s such a great mom.
No comment on Paris – she’s already getting enough.
