Scent is such a personal taste. I was reminded of this yesterday while my daughter and I spent a pleasant half hour at Bath and Body Work sniffing candles and choosing some new Spring-ier scented wallflowers. We both decided that we weren’t ready for our to kitchen smell like a giant mojito, or our washroom to smell like cupcakes, but we were enjoying sniffing at all the different products.
A woman walked in with her daughters, rolled her eyes dramatically and insisted that she had to get out immediately because the perfumes were giving her an instant headache (I’d venture a guess that spending the afternoon shopping with teen girls was probably a more likely source of that headache).
I’ve long been a fan of Dove’s Body Wash with NutriumMoisture products, and when they sent me a sample of the product in a new scent I was a little wary. The original product was great, worked well, and had the original and nostalgic Dove fragrance, and I wondered just what Rebalance in Plum and Sakura blossom would smell like.
No need to worry, Rebalance smells like Spring to me. The mix of fruity and subtle flowers gives one of my favourite body washes a seasonal update. If you’re a real fan, you can add the Ultimate Anti-Perspirant and Body Mist to your grooming arsenal. At prices ranging from $3.99 to $6.99 and widespread availability, it’s a cheap and cheeful infusion of Spring.
In the interest of full disclosure, Trend Watch is written by me; all opinions are my own. It is not sponsored. Sometimes I am given free products to review and sometimes I purchase the products all on my own. Dove gave me a free sample of this product, but I was not compensated for my review.
