Sean, that is.
In the gift giving department, that is.
Necklace with charm – kids names, our initials and the emerald for May (the month we were married)
(whoa – excuse the poor blackberry quality. My budding photographer has misplaced my camera)
The tacky pretty flowers came from the clearance bin at HomeSense. I know because the big red stickers were not removed. Eva picked them herself. I don’t think you can appreciate them fully through a (bad) photograph. They are about 3 feet long. And look as plastic as they are. But I love them and, with Eva, will pick the perfect spot in the new garden for them.
Cam made the lovely card. And Cuyler made me a really pretty plasticine scene mounted on a tile. I think it took him less than 3 minutes after I unwrapped it to peel the plasticine off and make several re-creations with it before he threw it away. It was a really pretty scene.
Sean got me the clock for the kitchen in the new place. Well done.
I also received this special letter:
Definitely going in the scapbook.
It was a wonderful day. Beyond the amazing gifts – I spent the day with my mom, my oldest sister, my niece and nephew. We were all happy, healthy and together.
And an added bonus: it was sunny and there was barely a breeze blowing.
Hmmm…our anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks. I wonder if he’ll be able to top last years gift?
