Well, this is what I ended up wearing to the TIFF on Wednesday night…even though that wasn’t the plan…but I didn’t have enough time to run home and change…but it ended up being okay, because, well, this sweater is my new favorite.

Not that I care if you dig the glasses or not, but I’ve never seen someone have so many complete strangers approach them to compliment their glasses as Ali in this pair.
Everywhere we go. Waitresses, store clerks, subway toll collectors, moms, dads, everywhere…

Having seen the glasses first hand (and secretly coveted them), I can attest that in person, they are like a delicately beautiful piece of art. And now, since it’s been, what, nine or ten months? I can’t imagine you without them. They are such a representation of you. Love them!

Well, obviously, my glasses are a huge discussion piece pretty much everywhere I go.
Actually, you are the first person to tell me that you dont like them…which, is noted, of course.
My glasses…a little bit about them. they were made in the late 1950s and they are actually vintage frames. They are obvious when you see them up close that they are not replicas or anything. they are actually such a nice bit of history to be carrying around on my face. I have always felt like the 1950s and early 60s were such a fabulous time in fashion history and would wear shirtdresses and pearls all day if I could afford it…the glasses are a way of wearing the 50s every day. I love them.

I do enjoy your style and like seeing what’s in your closet, but has anyone ever told you that your eyeglass frames are terrible? You are such a beautiful woman, but they are too big for your face and all you can see when you look at pictures of you are the eyeglasses, not your face. The style is good, but the size is all wrong.
