I’ve been trying to shop out of my closet this spring as much as possible, and I find accessories are always a great trick. I recently bought some silk flowers to pin on lapels or t-shirts to add a little tszuj to make an outfit go from meh to merveilleux in about four seconds. In this case, the pink flower is the right shade to go with the red shoes. Yes, try this at home!

Jessica Simpson patent ballet flats in chilli (swoons!) – Winners
Just love yourself, doll. Nevermind the flabby bits – we all have them. And in the meantime, put on a flower… 😉
Muuuaaaah!!
ohhh my problem is that I am not happy with my body.
I have a closet full of great clothes that *just*dont*quite*fit like they did. Im determined to get back into them (cant afford a new wardrobe)
cutie patooti!
As are YOU, Ms. Excellentest Eyebrows Ever… and thanks so much for dropping by, friend. xox
Gorgey. Way to rock the flower.
I am also a quarter-tuck sister.
You are forever fabulous.
I feel you, Carol – Im also only 5 feet tall, and big accessories can be scary, but if its just the one piece, I think we can get away with it. Try!!
Thanks, Julie! ALWAYS rock the quarter tuck… heh.
I know just what you mean, Alice. I think I have enough stuff too… just need to find some new ways to wear the stuff, you know?
Love it Tracey! I’m only 5 feet and worry about pulling off big and bold accessories. Thanks for proving that even short people can look fabulous wearing statement pieces.
voila, the quarter tuck once again! congrats on your new assignment, by the way.
I’m trying to get away with only buying one or two pairs of shoes and one or two dresses this year – I have a ton in my closet, it’s that those are my biggest weaknesses, there are so many lovely ones out there!
