It’s been a busy week so far, so these oversized sunglasses are completely necessary. When they’re THIS big, they can conceal a multitude of sins. I’m exhausted. But? I look fabulous. I am soooooo #winning.
And to add to the “cartoonish” nature of this outfit, I picked up this lightweight knit sweater – the wide black and cream stripes make it feel bold (man, I love me some stripes…) and I echoed the banding in the height of the cuff on my jeans. These cherry red ballet flats still lend a pop of colour… I carried a silver bag all day. I could have worn one of those silk flowers I’m so fond of (pink, I think!) but I was basically to lazy to go aaaaaall the way over to the drawer to get one.
Did I mention that I’m tired? I was part of a conference on social media “The State of Now” #140confMTL. I helped emcee a little bit. Thirty-eight speakers, I believe… gleaned lots of interesting information, heard some brilliant talks, and met a bunch of amazing people. My head is still taking everything in though. And, I haven’t been to bed until the wee hours for two nights in a row.
And? I have another soiree tonight… thank goodness for the glasses.

I’ve quietly been reading this blog, Tracey! You’re beautiful! You wear the short do so well. 🙂 I wear mine pretty short too, keep wanting to go shorter, but haven’t mustered the guts to do so. This particular ensemble is awesome!
