Friday WTF – The Madonna as an ‘actress’ edition

June 17, 2011 by Sara

It was announced this week that Madonna would be a guest on Bravo’s Inside The Actor’s Studio.  I loooooove this show.  I love James Lipton’s pompous question delivery and the good natured way that the guests humour him.  Before I had Will, it was a weekly Sunday afternoon destination for me.  I like to say ‘Before there was Greg Wiggle – there was James Lipton.’

I just heard online (heard? read?) that one of this season’s guests is MADONNA.  WTF??? As much as I’m anticipating the hilarious pompous voice to pompous fake accent conversation, what in gods name is Madonna going to teach theatre students about the craft of acting????
Mentor on So You Think You Can Dance.  Be a guest judge on American Idol.  But an acting show?  Hell – that would mean I could be cooking up a storm on Iron Chef!  (10 dishes made from macaroni and tuna anyone??)
Check out Will Ferrell’s amazing spoof of James Lipton…love.
Have a great weekend guys!

That’s one of my all-time faves too. So freaking funny… hee!!
Indeed – what the heck would Madge have to articulate (in her weird accent) for the actor-audience? “How NOT to make a stinker?” I’m not sure she’s skilled to even give THAT talk!!
    You’re funneh. xox
