Today starts a new Trend Watch feature. I’m going to show you two products or interpretations of a trend at two different price points.
Many of you know of Hanky Panky’s great thongs. Oprah loves them and so do I. They’re comfortable, well made and available in all sorts of beautiful colours. They fit great and they’re a girl’s best friend when it comes to eliminating VPL (visible panty lines). The fact that they’re “one size fits all” makes them a wonderful gift idea. But they’re not cheap, and depending on the lingerie store, one pair can set you back about $20
Enter Canadian lingerie company La Senza and their Ooh La Lace No-Show Thong. It looks awfully familiar, it’s available in a beautiful array of colours and it’s 85% nylon, 15% spandex. Best news of all? They’re on sale right now 5 pairs for $35!
My recommendation in this case is that you buy low and save the high for a special occasion.
