Well Naomi is on the ball, even considering the fast approaching holiday season! And, she has summed it up quite nicely… check out your local Ronald McDonald house, they truly are awesome people!!!
And, no family is ever truned away because they can not pay the low nightly rate, usually around $10 per nite.
And, please say a special prayer for all the moms who may have a sick child at this holiday season and may be staying in a Ronald McDonald House.

Those are some great questions Lynne! The London house could hold up to 17 families in a night but every house is different and mostly all the houses are expanding due to the need. The average stay is around a week but it can be from one night up to many months. If you are interested in learning more please visit the link http://www.rmhlondon.ca. I encourage you to visit your own local Ronald McDonald House as you will be amazed at the dedication of long standing volunteers. The volunteers are very welcoming and love to answer questions as they are very PASSIONATE about RMH and the help they provide for the families.

I have heard of the Ronald McDonald House, but didn’t know much about it. How many families can the Ronald McDonald House accommodate at one time? What is the average duration of a family’s visit?
